He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Newman and Lillian Newman (Erhardt); his wife Rhonda; his granddaughter Lydia Newman; and his siblings, Ralph Newman and Rose Mae Hartmann.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Doss (John) of Owensville, Mitchell Newman (Carman) of Washington and Meagan Cooper (Joe) of Hartsburg; his brothers, Roy Newman of Belle, Paul Newman of Bland, Art Newman (Sheryl) of Bland, Jim Newman of Bland and Martin Newman of Jefferson City; and his grandchildren, Blake Mehrhoff (Shyan), Easton, Parker Cooper, Logan, Chelsea, Natalie and Amelia Newman.
