It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Lee Dean (Blackwell, Missouri), born in Cadet, Missouri, who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Boyer (Courtois) and Cecil Dean; his stepparents, Raymond Boyer and Mary Esther Dean; his daughters, Donna Dean and Peggy Dean; his siblings, Cecil Dean, Glenda Hopkins and Lynda; and his son-in-law Mark Gerlach.

He is survived by: his wife Terry Dean (Recar) of Blackwell; his daughters, Rhonda Coleman (Kemmy) of Cadet, Debbie Faye Gerlach (Frank) of Bonne Terre, Joannie Love of Sullivan and Deena Meinhardt of DeSoto; and his siblings, Eddie Dean of Dittmer, Ronnie Dean (Sonya) of Kansas City, MO, Raymond Boyer (Brenda), Vince Boyer (Debbie) of Cadet, Alice Chambliss (Mike), Carolyn Kincaid (Randy) of Cadet and Mary Kay Vandergriff (Ed) of Cadet. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
