She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph V. Thornton (Bud); her son-in-law Walter Wells; and her siblings, Gilbert Rinne, Alma Blumhorst and Nadine Hefty.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Ross (Tom) of Sweet Springs, Stanley Thornton (Wanda) of Sweet Springs and Phil Thornton (Phyllis) of Marshall; her grandchildren, Lisa Sims (Tim), Jeff Hanes, Blaine Thornton (Tiffany), Meridith Haley (Jeremy), Rachel Hudson (Christopher) and Morgan Jolliff; her great grandchildren, Sebastian Sims (Michelle), Aaron Sims (Karson), Karstin Hanes, Charlot Thornton, Conrad Thornton and Kaiden Haley; her great great grandchild Sutton Sims; and her sister-in-law Jewell Banfield of Denver, CO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
