He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Kitchens; his children, Kim Ware (Fred), Susan Dale, Edgar Hart (Holly) and Beverly Morrow (Brian); his siblings, Danny Kitchens, Michael Kitchens, Billy Joe Kitchens, Linda Sharon Shanfish and Karen Sue Carlile; and his grandchildren, Jonathon Hart, Joshua Hart, Ben Humphries, D. J. Ezell, Blane Morrow, Brandon Morrow, Jeremy Ware, Katie Wagoner and Van Nathan Kitchens, IV.
