She is survived by: her former husband Martin F. Romans; her stepchildren, Benny Ray, Michael and Kimberly; her children, Lavonne Lawrence, Lanette Stark (Shawn), Ashley Sheppard (Thomas), Tyson Rutledge and Kristie Blain; and her siblings, Betty A. Dungan, Connie E. Womack (Cecil), Sonny Grandstaff (Glenda), Vickie L. Day, Dennis R. Grandstaff and Brenda S. Huddleston (Bill). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
