Erma Chowning Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2021, at the age of 72, Erma Chowning of Birch Tree, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Lee and Eva Saffell (Butler); her siblings, Hazel Abbott, Esther Pollard and Paul Davis; her nephews, Ed Saffell, Mike and Terry Abbott; and her parents-in-law, Earl and Doreene Chowning.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Chowning (Sara) and Kristy Reese (Travis); her husband Marshall Chowning; her grandchildren, Kiah Reese of Birch Tree, MO, McKenna Chowning, Gavin Reese of Birch Tree, MO and Micah Cunningham; her brothers, Leonard Saffell and Harry Saffell (Sylvia); and her siblings-in-law, Mike Chowning (Janet) and Donna Whiteside (Richard) of Mountain View, MO.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Clinic in memory of Erma.
