She was predeceased by: her parents, Bratcher Tarlton and Opal Tarlton; her husband B. B. Thackston; her siblings, Val Tarlton (Wanda), Lindle Tarlton (Barbara) and Sybil Clark (LeRay); and her great grandchild Auster German.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Thackston of Gulf Shores, AL, Ellen Nicholson (Dan) of Winona, MO and Mona Bishop (Edward) of Cave-In; and her siblings, Charles Tarlton (Ruth) of Portland, OR and Lois Mocklin (Rich) of Rock Falls, IL. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
