He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Harter and Laura Harter (Arndt); his brother Robert Harter (Bob) of Billings; and his daughter Patty Laney. He is survived by: his former wife Vivian Burkey of Billings; his son Stan Laney of Billings; his grandchildren, Todd Laney, Tara Plank (Trent Plank) of Clever and Evan Harter of Republic; his spouse Haki Ismajli of Kosovo; his grandchildren, Sydney of Billings, Alyson Harter of Billings, Parker Kolarik, Marie Kolarik-Gardner (Jacob Gardner) of Nixa, Jake Harter and Ryan Harter of Ozark; his uncle Wilb'; his nieces and nephews, Chrissy Lawson of Marionville, Carmen Wallace of Republic and Jennifer Machin of Springfield; and his brothers, Carl, Puetz and Jim. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
