He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Garbee and Marie Garbee (Fabro); his sons, Jeffery and Christopher; his great grandchild Reid Garbee; and his sister Patricia Ellington.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas, Daniel, Matthew and Benjamin; his wife Carolyn Sue Calkin; and his brother Richard of Shawnee, KS. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
