It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Preston Allen Patterson Sr. of Billings, Missouri, born in Grady, New Mexico, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Patterson, Sr. and Hattie Belle Patterson (Branch); his wife Elda "Jewell" McElhannon; his daughter Frances Louise; his grandsons, Mark and James; his brothers, Perry and Paschell; and his great grandchild Jayci.

He is survived by: his children, Allen Patterson (Debi) of Reeds Spring, Missouri, Joyce Shrum (Lynn) of Washburn and Donna Lambert (John) of Winter Springs, Florida; and his sister Betty DeWitt of Washburn, Missouri. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
