He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barke and Margarette Barke (Leuzinger); his son Jeffrey Kent; his wife Etta Mae; and his brothers, Eric Barke and Walter Barke.

He is survived by: his sons, Richard Wayne and Randy Barke.
