He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Sr and Oma J. Petterson Sr. (Hahn). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his children, Melissa of Harlowton and Michael (Roxanne) of Leeton, MO; his siblings, Steve (Debra) of Aspermont, TX, David (Randee) of Maple Plains, IA and Billie Carter of Aspermont, TX; and his grandson Nolan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
