It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erlene (Andrus) Nelson of Billings, Missouri, born in Hurley, Missouri, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl G. Andrus and Mary Louise Andrus (Conrad); her brothers, Ralph Andrus (Katie) and Raymond Andrus; her nephews, Randy and Greg Andrus; her son-in-law Ronald Hammond; and her close friends, Karen, Sonny Toon, Linda Groves, Janis Melton and Anne Laney.
She is survived by: her husband Leo Nelson; her daughters, Sarah Pitts (Robert) of Billings, MO and Sandra Hammond of Willard, MO.; her grandchildren, Leah Wilken (Cameron), Haley McKinney St, Kyle (Linsey), Brittney Smith (Pitts), Knox, Madden Wilken, Aurora, Liliegh McKinney, Titus, Scarlett and Haddon Pauley; her sister-in-law JoAnn; her niece Diane (John); her nephew Duane (Sharlene); and her close friends, Nancy and Ellis Sneed.
