It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Philips of Billings, Missouri, born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Philips (Mrogenski) and Larry Philips. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jeff Nechanicky; his wife Joanne; his sons, Corey Philips (Leigha) and Brandon Philips; his stepson Travis Albert (Julie); his siblings, Dennis Philips (Sondra), Daniel Philips (Wauneta), Deborah Syfert and Penny Dolberg (Terry); his grandchildren, Gwen, Avery, Dierks, Crosby, Chandler Philips, Kennadi and Remingtin Albert; and also Sam Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are being accepted by the family.

“My deepest sympathies to Dave’s loved ones. I knew Dave from work at Enercon, SENS, PowerSecure, and Peaker. He was such a great person and friend. We had great times together over the years including fishing trips and at least one Packer game at Lambeau! Hearing about his tragic ending was terrible, he was the greatest guy. He was so good at his job and in the power generation business, he will certainly be very missed. Jon Rodriguez”
