He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Vicky Hammontree (Wilma Gladbach) of Macon, MO; his stepdaughter Debbie Whitley of Bevier, MO; his grandchildren, Wayne Hammontree (Julie) of Macon, MO, Lynsey Farmer of Columbia, MO, Devon Guilmette (Patrick) of Macon, MO, Lindsay and Sierra Whitley of Bevier, MO.; his sons, Wayne and Gary Hammontree; and his grandson Garrett Hammontree.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project.
