He was predeceased by: his wife Sally; his brothers, Alby and Carl; and his parents, Otto Adams and Coletta Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Adams (Terry), James Adams (Heidi) and Theresa Adams; and his stepchildren, Pam Bednarek (Chris), Craig Holmes (Kate), Keith Holmes (Tammy) and Cheryl Kurth (Jeff). He is also survived by his family or friends.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Charles Cemetery.
