He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene and Opal Maxine Day (Burk); and his sister Donna Day. He is survived by: his children, Christina Case (Jim) of Fulton, MO, Mendy Shriver (Dennis) of Liberty, MO and Marion Davis Day of Blue Springs, MO; his grandchildren, Kimberly Case, Derek, Kaylie Teter of Stephanie Parker, A. K, Ruby Case, Justin Case, Jacob, Willow Shriver, Garrett, Jacelynn Shriver, Kate Shriver, Bintu Shriver, Trey Shriver and Mason Day; and his siblings, Beverly Wyatt, Bob Day, David Day and Daniel Day. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family.

The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund.
