He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oliver Meyers and Mildred Irene Meyers; his wife Ruth Ann Meyers; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Meyers. He is survived by: his children, Melvin M. Meyers, Jr. of St. Clair, MO, David Meyers (Lori) of Columbus, IN, Mark Meyers (Regina) of Labadie, MO and Angela Hutchings (Edward) of Catawissa, MO; and his stepchildren, David Lee Gore of Pacific, MO and Thelma Gore of Pacific, MO. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
