He was predeceased by: his parents, Alanzo Broadwater and Faye Adair Broadwater; his wife Michele Broadwater; and his brothers, Diszona, Delona, Junior (Ted) and Jerry Broadwater.

He is survived by: his children, Everett Broadwater Jr. (Theresa) of Michigan, Charles Broadwater (Jeri) of Michigan, Darlene Beaudrie (Ronald) of Michigan, Linda Callison (James) of Michigan, Erik Broadwater (Amber) of Michigan, Sara Smith of Michigan, Erica Burden of Missouri, Hillary Bash (Susan) of Missouri and Ryan Henderson (Erin) of Missouri. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
