With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Mae Jones of Bethel, Missouri, born in Pontiac, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Eugene Sr. and Mabel Estena Lund (Heckendorn); her husband Leo Edgar Jones; her children, Betty Mae Jones, Gerald Jones, Ronald Jones, Robert Jones and John Jones; her grandchildren, Harold Leroy Jones, Jr., David Jones, Daniel Jones, Edward Jones and Deanna Jones; her siblings, Howard Lund, Ralph Lund, Richard Lund, Donald Lund, Doris Bauerrichter, Ruth Jones and Bessie Stambaugh; and her children-in-law, Rachel, Carmen, Marty, Deborah, Barb, Kelly, Ron Pennington and Donald Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Jones, Harold Jones, William Jones (Cindy), Glen Jones (Darlene), Darwin Jones (Catherine), Judy Pennington and Lou Ann Stathem (Donald); and her brother Martin Lund, Jr. (Kathy). She is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; two step great-great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
