He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glenn and Nellie Herzog (Mikkelsen); his parents-in-law, Vern and Muriel Phillips; his brothers-in-law, Larry Young and Bob Thiem; and his nephew Curtis Reames.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Phillips; his children, Ryan "Spud" Herzog (Mairnee Manring) and Stacie Herzog (Steven Griffin); his grandson Saxton Griffin; and his sisters, Pat Dwyer (Gary), Sandy Johnson (Phil), Linda Young and Kathy Thiem. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p. m. Saturday at the church where social distancing will be observed and masks are recommended.
