She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Sweat and Gladys Margaret Sweat (Hershburger). She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Higdon; her children, Dennis Higdon (Jessica) and Lesa K Higdon; her granddaughter Tanna; and her close friend Bill Slaughter.
