She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Smith and Artie Smith (Smith); and her sisters, Dixie Nichols and Donna Fish. She is survived by: her husband John Beals of Bethany, MO; her daughters, Leslie Folgate (Doug) of Ridgeway, MO and Melanie Harryman (Rob) of Grimes, IA; her grandchildren, Jason Folgate (Dawn) of Bethany, MO, Emily Foster (Justin) of Ridgeway, MO and Katie Harryman of Grimes, IA; her great grandchildren, Serenity Throckmorton, Brody Throckmorton, Rylee Folgate and Henry Folgate; and her brother Jerry Smith (Marilyn) of Bethany, MO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home - Bethany (1107 S 25th St, Bethany, MO 64424). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Miriam Cemetery (931 N 12th St, Bethany, MO 64424).
Memorials are suggested to the 1st Baptist Church of Bethany, MO or the Miriam Cemetery.
