He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn; his children, Joe Hurt (Nicole) and Jennie Caudle (Jeff); his grandchildren, Ryne, Emma, Morgan, Chancellor, Mikinley, Kambree and Treyton; his brother Keith Hurt (Judy); his sisters-in-law, Julia Hodges, Nancy Simon, Gale Carter (Mike), Sharon Evans (Gary Edds) and Peggy Crabtree; his parents, Frank Hurt and Beatrice Hurt; and his in-laws, Myrtle, Walter Burkeybile, Nicole Hurt, Kevin Hurt, Christopher Hurt, Gary Hodges, Danny Simon and Troy Simon. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
