He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest "Pete" and Lucille King (Smith); his wife Darlene Heldenbrand; his children, Barbara Thompson (Rodney), Lisa Cain (William) and Jim King (Charlotte); and his stepchildren, Chris Heldenbrand (Peggy), Debbie Ray (Ralph), Marsha Bailey (Cliff) and Russell Heldenbrand (Debbie). He was also cherished by 14 step-grandchildren and 33 step-great-grandchildren.
