He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Ray and Claris May Wright McLain; his son Mike McLain; and his brothers, Ted McLain and Darryl McLain.
He is survived by: his wife Dena Rose Shepard; his sons, Bill McLain (Teresa McLain) and Randy McLain (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Samantha Bartlett (Harry), Dylan McLain (Shandi), Randi Lynn Dejongh (Jeremy), Renee McLain, Jacob McLain (Chrystal), Adam McLain (Karlee) and Kiley Howe (Thomas). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Memorials to Bethany Assembly of God Church, Bethany, Missouri and maybe left with the mortuary.
