He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Elder and Anna Elder (McAtee); his siblings, Avis Marshall and Harry Elder; his sisters-in-law, Maxine Elder, Pauline Stevenson and Betty Souders; and his nephews, Dennis and Tommy Souders.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Elder (Holley); his children, Donnie Elder (Darla) of Gallatin, MO, Gary Elder (Jessie) and Lisa Schell (Dwight) of Bethany, MO; his sister Eva Henderson (Jerry) of Trenton, MO; his sister-in-law Taylor of Bethany, MO; and his adoptive daughter Joyce Fletchall (Rex). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home where social distancing will be observed and masks are recommended.
