He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett F. Sherrill and D. Fontella Sherrill (Stanton); his brother Everett "Francis" Sherrill, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Pam Sherrill; his grandson Garrett Ellis; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Faith and Jasmyn.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie (Weddle); his children, Ricky Sherrill of Martinsville, MO, Rebecca Thompson (Monty) of Albany, MO, Renee Ellis (Al Reuter) and Roberta Madison of Kansas City, MO; and his grandchildren, David (Val), Adam, Megan (Brad), Kristina, Dustin (Sabrina), Sarah (Jordon), Morgan, Kelsey (Nate), Dalton (Shelby) and Kolby (Diane). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; 1 great grandson-in-law; nieces and nephews; friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home - Bethany (1107 S 25th St, Bethany, MO 64424). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
