He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Lee Young Sr. and Welta Marie Adams Young; his sisters, Margaret Cox (Dennis) of Dexter, Missouri. and Linda Quinn (Jerry) of Dexter, Missouri.; his parent-in-law Kimbrala "Kim" Hester Young; his wife Kim; his children, Chad Young (Brandy) of Fuquay Varina and Tammy Boyle (Darren) of Bernie; his daughter-in-law Gloria Young of Bernie, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Dylan Young, Jake Young, Lindsey Young and Jesse Johnson; his stepgrandchildren, Sydney Smithee, Kyle Smithee, Jadyn Smithee and Bailey Boyle Tinsley; his great grandchildren, Jett Brotz, Twins, Cole, Brooks Johnson, Maisyn, Eleanor Tinsley and Emmett Tinsley; and his son Todd Robert Young. He was also cherished by uncle, many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
