He was predeceased by: his parents, Nona Kennedy and Naomi Barton Kennedy; his wife Joyce Lorene Edwards; his children, Robert Edward Kennedy, Donna Norden and Joy Nell Williams; his siblings, Jimmy Kennedy and Geraldine Armbruster; and his grandchildren, Troy Norden, Tidge Rinker, Tammy Telker, Marcus Norden and Michael Norden Jr..
He is survived by: his son Rick Kennedy (Paulette) of Bernie; his sons-in-law, Michael Norden Sr. of Bernie and Terry Williams of Bunker; his daughters, Rhonda Rinker (Dave) of Valles Mines, Beverly Adams (Bob) of Malden and Kim Blake (Lannie) of Malden, Missouri; and his daughter-in-law Peggy Sue Kennedy of Bernie. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.
