He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Lee Garner Grubbs and Oakley Rufus Grubbs; and his sisters, Bonnie Jean Gromer and Ethel Marie Borders. He is survived by: his wife Julie Mae Spurlin; and his siblings, Ruthie Elaine Bien Colove, Gilbert Michael Grubbs, Rosa Lee Ward, David Preston Grubbs, Roberta Ann Getek, Glen Verlin Grubbs, Hoosiers of Indiana, Oakley Rufus Grubbs Jr. (Bud) and Jerry Lee Grubbs. He is also survived by two grandsons and three granddaughters.
