He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leroy Durham and Goldie Loveless Durham; his daughter Diana McGowan; his great grandchildren, Paxton McGowan and Josten McGowan; and his parents-in-law, W. C. and Mamie Hillyard.
He is survived by: his spouse Marlin Hillyard; his children, Beckie Combs (Randall) of Alton, Missouri and Jan McGowan of Bernie, Missouri; his siblings, Kenneth Durham (Sharon) of Bernie, Missouri, Beatrice Mae Baldwin of Fenton, Jenny Parmley of Fenton, Mildred Adams (Paul) of McKinney and Mary Lou Giddings of Dexter, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jeremy Don McGowan (Myra), Joshua McGowan (Tara), Ashley Stiles (Brett) and Austin Combs; and his great grandchildren, Hailey Pipkins (Jaden), Jaden McGowan (Saelem), Mallory Rodgers, Karsten McGowan, Oakleigh McGowan, Sophia Combs, Audrey Stiles, Hendrick Stiles and Madison Stiles.
