He is survived by: his children, Adam Bruce Appleton of Jackson and Amanda Nicole Appleton of Bernie, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Andrea Appleton of Perryville, Missouri; his siblings, Roland Appleton of Bertrand, Larry Appleton of Sikeston, Missouri and Margaret Moffitt of High Point; his grandchildren, Giana McCoy, Elijsha Brown, Brooklyn Brown, Roman Appleton, Ellery Appleton and Legend Appleton; and his siblings, Ronnie Appleton, Leon Appleton, Shirley Kersey, Sandra Odle, Joanne Jones and Joan Lewis. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
