He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus E. Sides and Lina E. Sides (Warren); his former wife Faye Quinn; his son-in-law Thomas Dawson; and his brother Wayne Sides.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Marner-Sides; his daughter Barbara Dawson; his grandson Robbie Dawson of Bernie, Missouri.; and his nephews, Gary (Terrie), Kevin Sides (Tammy) of Festus, Missouri and Raye Riley of Anthony, Texas. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; and by many, many friends.
