Ruth Shanker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Shanker (Berger, Missouri), who passed away on August 3, 2019 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Sam Shanker; her children, Gary Shanker (late Ann), Debra Fink (Joel) and Alan Shanker (Pam); her grandchildren, Greta Baum (Jeff), Jonathan Shanker (Naomi), Yosef Fink (Yedudis), Ezekiel Fink (Jillian), Leah Almo (Jacob), Molly Abikzer (Joseph), Elisha Huff (Dov), Dena Shanker (Ray Sultan) and Rebecca Shanker; and her siblings, Lou Makovsky, Mary Koshner, Selma Blum, Jack Makovsky, Herman Makovsky, Bertie Mestman, Irwin Makovsky, Morris Makovsky and Edith Binder.
