He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Joy Balis (Fred) and Steve Wielansky (Linda); his grandchildren, Becca Balis (Yann Kerblat), Katie Balis, Allie Wielansky and Michael Wielansky; his siblings, Stanley Wielansky (late Elaine), Lillian Liebman (late Leo) and Joan Braten (Marvin); and his sibling-in-law Ted Baumgarten (Teddie). He was also cherished by his children and four special grandchildren.
