He is survived by: his wife Joan Starr Sherman; his children, Sherri Waxman, Marla Shapiro (David), Gary Sherman (Randi), Grampy (Felise) of Doug, Lindsay (Adam), Josh (Kristen) and Abby; and his great grandchildren, Eviana, Howie, Nolan and Austin.
