It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Scherer (Benton, Missouri), who passed away on May 31, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Bob Scherer (Ann) of Venice; and his grandchildren, Allen Schott, Benjamin Schott and Baby Schott. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Chris Scherer (Donna) of Kelso, Jeff Scherer (Tina) of Benton, Nancy Williams (Bill) of Jackson and Julie Schott (Bob) of Benton; his sister-in-law Libby Scherer of Cape Girardeau; his grandchildren, Megan Kerns (Gene), Dustin LeGrand (Heather), Kaylee, Kenzie, Christina, John and Paul Scherer; and his great grandchildren, Baylie Kerns, Kora Kerns and Bennett LeGrand.
