He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert McGowan and Reinetta Margaret Atcherberg McGowan; his wife Cheri Parsons; his children, James Robert McGowan (Melinda) of Portage and Angela Rahm (Stig); his stepson David Forrest Parsons (Elizabeth) of Chaffee; his brothers, James McGowan (Sally) of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Jerry McGowan (Jackie) of Wisconsin Dells, WI and Dan McGowan (Susan) of Burke, VI; and his pets, Panhead and Softail. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; one great grandson.
