He is survived by: his wife Mary of Benton; his sons, Troy Heffington (Amanda) of Bloomington and Kurt Heffington of St. Paul, Minnesota; and his stepchildren, Rusty Davis (Tina) of Advance, Missouri, Mary Sue Compton (Douglas) of Centerton and Barbara Belote (Sean) of Decatur, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
