He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Eads and Loretta Smith Eads; and his daughter Vickie Marie Williams. He is survived by: his children, Michael Eads, Jr. (Amanda) of Benton, Toni Durrow (Doug) of Poplar Bluff, Loretta Evans of Belleville and Amber Rawlings of Carbondale, Illinois; and his siblings, Ronnie Martin of Cuba, Missouri and Linda Martin of St. Louis. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
