He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Jacobs and Irene Garrett; and his grandson James Patrick Joyce II. He is survived by: his children, Jim Garrett (Angela) of Jackson, Cindy Ann Joyce of Benton, Angela Renee Cagle of Benton and Leslie Ann Warren (Shawn) of Sikeston; and his siblings, Jim Jacobs of Oklahoma, Lois Moon of Missouri and Betty Stone of Alabama. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; also, by other relatives and close friends.
