He was predeceased by: his parents, William Moit and Arry Goins Moit; his wife Betty Jane Lape; and his daughters, Carolyn (Schaefer) and Betty Sue Moit.
He is survived by: his children, George B. Moit, Jr. of Benton, Missouri, Teresa Jackson of Hayti and Patricia Jewel Carnell of Jackson, Missouri. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren; also, by other close relatives and many friends.
