Corona Essner Obituary
We bid farewell to Corona Essner (Benton, Missouri), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Corona touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Andrew Essner; her son Andrew Essner; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Essner; her grandson Mark Essner; and her siblings, Raymond Bucher, Monsignor Philip Bucher, Susie Seyer, Josepha Reinagel, Marietta Vandermierden, Veronica Westrich and Germaine Bucher.
She is survived by: her grandchild Coonie; her sons, Kenny (Debbie Essner) and Tim Essner of New Hamburg; her daughter-in-law Carla Essner of New Hamburg; her sister Zita Nenninger of Hazelwood, Missouri; her grandchildren, Kim Ziegler (Brian) of Kelso, Missouri, Nicole Egli (Brian) of Keller, Texas, Dustin Essner (Amy) of New Hamburg, Kari Wilhelm (James) of Kelso, Kent Essner of Dexter, Leonna Heuring (Dean) of New Hamburg, Michelle Silman (Andy) of Benton, Andrea Sampanis (Pete) of Vienna, Virginia and Lisa Eftink (Jim) of New Hamburg; and her great grandchildren, Drew Silman, Colton Essner, Braden Egli, Drake Wilhelm, Griffin Wilhelm and Rolen Heuring. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Parish Center (1001 State Hwy A, Benton, MO 63736). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (1017 State Hwy A, Chaffee, MO 63740).
