She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Spainhower and Stella Spainhower (Cox). She is survived by: her children, David Allen (Peggy), Grant and Megan Allen; her great grandchildren, Beau Ryan and Sadie Paige; her children, Mark and Chene Allen; and her great grandchild J. J..
As per Charlotte's wishes anatomical donation to the University of Kansas Medical School has taken place and private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charlotte's memory are suggested to Traditions Hospice, 220 NW R.D. Mize Road, STE 101, Blue Springs, Missouri 64014 and Benton House of Blue Springs, 1701 NW Jefferson St., Blue Springs, Missouri.
