He is survived by: his wife Rose Ann Ressel; his children, Mike Scherer (Karen), Gary Scherer (Judy), Charla Glueck (Paul), Don Scherer (Sandy McArthur), Richard Scherer (Lisa), Lisa Scherer (Doug Gosche), Linda Kieffer (Kevin), Kenny Scherer (Meredith), Teresa Ray (Shane), Barbra Below (Lynn) and Jason Scherer (Paula Menees); his grandchildren, Harley Scherer, Andrew, Ethan, Elliot Glueck, Dylan, Gage, Reece, Jude Scherer, Hunter, Kelsi, Haley, Kaylen Glastetter, Klayton, Heather, Kaleb Gosche, Nathan, Lindsey, Lucia Kieffer, Carter, Jolie, Tanner, Chloe Scherer, Gaven, Carlee Ray, Nick, Jake and Savannah Below; his great grandchildren, Alaina Trankler, Carson Glueck, Charlie, Leo Glastetter, Kaisley, Bridge Moit and Emerson Scherer; and his siblings, Jim Scherer, Ruth Anne Cashion, Clara Grider, Celeste Nenninger, Clete Scherer, Harold Scherer, Ann Stuckey and Danny Scherer.
