It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hamlin of Belton, Missouri, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hamlin and Bonnie Jeanne Hamlin (Knight); and his brother Robert "Bobby" Hamlin. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Marie Mehrer; his daughters, Barbara Turner of Grandview, Suzie Vail (Doug) of Gilbert and Rachel Shustek (Stefanie) of Lee's Summit; his grandchildren, David Dysart, Miranda Vail, Kayla Vail, Daniel Vail, Theodore Shustek and Lucas Shustek; his siblings, Kenny Hamlin of Liberty, Patty Logue (Pat) of Sunrise Beach and Becky Shields (Don) of St. Petersburg, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Mehrer of Belton, Kay Sevy of Creighton and Pattie Hamlin of Texas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family is requiring that all in attendance wear a mask.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
