It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mickey Ames of Belton, Missouri, born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Ames (Lee) and Gertrude Ames (Antrim). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ames (Adams) of Belton, Missouri; his children, David Ames of Fort Scott, Kansas, Andrea Berry (Bill) of Annandale and Amber O'Hara (Travis) of Lake Lotawana, Missouri; his brother Danny Ames (Joan) of Polk City, Florida; and his grandchildren, Isla, Peyton, Cooper, Jack, Anna, Hudson and Pete.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64145.
