We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2020, Mary Carol Schmidt of Belton, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Billie Joyce Carlson (KS); her grandparents, Harold, Hannah Schmidt (CO), Noble and Dorothy Stewart (MO); her great-grandparents, Jacob, Marie Haun (CO), Thomas and Alma Mae Banning (MO); her mother-in-law Margaret Mitchell (KS); and her sister-in-law Deborah Spears (MO).
She is survived by: her wife Cynthia Mitchell (MO); her father Ronald Schmidt (NM); her siblings, Stephanie Dierking (MO) and Charles Schmidt (Sherry); her nephews, Aaron and Jacob (NM); her sister Diana Carlson (Scott Cahill); her niece Adrienne Chitwood (WA); her aunts, Martha Kean (MO) and Sharon Stahla (CO); her uncle Stuart Schmidt (NV); her sister-in-law Beverly Johnson (CO); her nephews, Mark Johnson (KS), Brian Johnson (CO), James Spears (MO) and Sean Spears (MO); and also, Cynthia Meyerhoefer (AL) and Judy Adams (PA). She is also survived by cousins, colleagues, and friends.
The family is grateful to St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church and to the Sharon Cemetery Association for their generous donations.
