With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Hartzler of Belton, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary Ann has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Appel and Jennie Appel; and her husband Edwin Hartzler. She is survived by: her children, David Hartzler (Lorinda Hartzler) and Diana Hartzler-Davis (Brian Davis); her grandchildren, Harrison, Summer and Hannah Hartzler; and her sister Eleanor Eberhardt. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dickey Funeral Homes (2401 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
